About Cori T. Ellis

Using the most basic of modern photography tools, Cori brings her joy, personal musings, and playful demeanor to creating quirky and thought provoking still images.

"With all the recent buzz around CGI, machine learning, and AI generated media, I find that I especially appreciate the aesthetic of art that has been unmistakably made by human hands.  I have always loved practical effects in film and photography and now I try to incorporate that in to my creations by featuring real physical objects, positioned in real physical space, with a focus on my own approach to practical effects and very little use of digital tools for things like touchups or color corrections."

"A lot of my images feel simple and elegant but I love when I manage to execute something comparatively ambitious and people get excited trying to figure out how I pulled it off."

Cori's debut publication "d!ck pics: the photobook" will likely be the first in a series of photo books.
